Welcome to my digital portfolio. I am a graduate student at Tennessee Technological University, and I am pursuing my M.A. in Professional and Technical Communications while also beginning coursework towards my Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Program Planning & Evaluation. I speak Spanish fluently, and in addition to my Spanish minor I have a minor in Cello Performance. I am currently the Graduate Assistant for the Grand Challenge at Tennessee Tech, the university’s newest initiative to serve rural communities through combining the assets of students, faculty, and staff from all fields of study. I work to develop a strategic communicative plan for the Grand Challenge in hopes of gaining involvement and recognition throughout the university and community. The art of literature, language, learning, and music consumes me. I have always had a strong passion for professional and technical communication, and I see a strong importance in one’s ability to communicate his or her dreams, abilities, and beliefs regardless of field of study. I wish to pursue a career in academia as a professor, incorporating communication assets and skills into any and all coursework. Within my portfolio are published works, my curriculum vitae, and ongoing projects, artifacts, and more.
